Organizations with PR offices are pushing your buttons. They twist a few facts to make you support things that probably aren’t in your best interest. This goes double for any organization with lobbyists. And there are 30,000 of them. They want you working and voting for their interest…not yours.
Political groups have dozens of hot-button issues to fire people up. They’re designed to make you react. They play on your emotions and fears and beliefs. They’re called wedge issues. Political groups use them to use you.
There’s an old saying in politics, “if you get people asking the wrong question, it doesn’t matter what answer they come up with.”
Don’t fall for it. Don’t be a rube.
